Pilgrimage overview
Dear Friends,
In May of 2026, I invite you to join me and our Cathedral community on a pilgrimage to England, from Canterbury to York, the birthplace of our Anglican and Episcopal tradition. This journey will give us the opportunity to experience our faith in new ways—by visiting the churches, cathedrals, and holy sites where our tradition took shape, and by walking together as a community seeking renewal in our life as Christians.
Pilgrimage is not simply a vacation or sightseeing tour—it is an intentional journey of faith. Together, we will step into sacred spaces where Christians have prayed for centuries, join in worship shaped by our Anglican tradition, and walk through cathedrals and chapels that have nurtured countless believers before us. Along the way, there will be time for reflection, fellowship, and learning, as we deepen our understanding of our Episcopal identity and strengthen our life together as a community of faith.
This trip will be a chance to draw closer to God, to one another, and to our spiritual roots. It will also be a time to rest, have fun, and enjoy the gift of being together outside our usual routines. Pilgrimage often changes how we see both our faith and ourselves, sending us home renewed for the life and ministry God calls us to here in Miami.
I am grateful that we will be partnering with Lightline Tours, a company with a long tradition of guiding Anglican and Episcopal pilgrimages around the world. Their experience, hospitality, and deep understanding of faith-based travel will ensure our journey is well-organized, educational, and memorable. I hope you will consider joining us!
Many blessings,
The Very Reverend Jason Roberson
Provost, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Miami
