For centuries pilgrims have journeyed across Europe to the shrine of St James at Santiago de Compostella. The call of the Camino is unique in the practice of pilgrimage, attracting both devout Christians, and peoples of all faiths and none. Lightline, in partnership with a uniquely well-regarded Spanish company, is delighted to offer the chance to explore the Camino in a variety of ways, using excellent and experienced local guides, vans/minibuses to transport luggage while pilgrims walk, and superb accommodations located a short drive from the actual Camino.
Pilgrimages can be arranged that contain sufficient hiking to earn the pilgrim the distinction of being awarded the Compostella on arrival in Santiago, or we can arrange for a more leisurely approach to the journey, using luxury buses to travel some of the longer distances.
